A day together

At Torskolan it´s a tradition that the 9 graders plan for an activity day together
with the 7 graders. It´s a nice and fun way to introduce the new students and
welcome them to school.

Hi from Sweden!

Hi Poland and the Czech Rep! We are the new 7 graders and are all in the Swedish/English class. On the top you can see Anni holding our mascot that we would like to bring to you. We have just started to work on the story about the Little Red Hen and it´s going to be fun to get to know you all.

Recreation day

All 7 graders were out riding a bike yesterday, about 30 km.
We all gathered for lunch at Dalskär.
Do you remember that place? We had a very nice and fun day together.

Sweet Start

The first day in school very important. We usually remember it for years. In Silesia region the first day is always very sweet as kids get a big bag full of sweets to share with their new friends.

1 September in Poland

Goodbye pre-school! On September1 all seven-year-old children in Poland go to primary school. Now we have more new friends.

František´s diary - Monday

Monday 19th May

It was a cold day and we were waiting for a Student Agency bus to take us to Brno and then to Copenhagen in Denmark. As the bus arrived to Prague , we met some students from Sweden who were going back home from their Czech trip. Some of them were wearing very strange clothes and behaved strangely. I think our thoughts about them started very similarly in our minds: Do common Swedish young people look like them? But we worried unnecessarily as we all found later !

Then travelling was unadventurous. We travelled over Germany at night and tried to sleep but I didn´t sleep a lot. During the breaks we practiced our dancing, it was fun!
