Girls from grade 5 working on their enamel decorations.
An afternoon school club for girls who like hand made jewellery was opened in October 2007 and about 15 girls from grades 3rd up to 5th have been its regular members. In the course of 7 months they have tried various art techniques including beading, enamelled jewellery and tinker technology.
On Wednesday 7th May a display of their hand- made artifacts will be opened in the school building. Readers of this blog can see some of nice jewellery made in Základní škola Dub nad Moravou here and compare it to what we can buy in special shops. What do you think about skilful hands of Czech girls?
