St. Nicholas´s day in Dub school

The 5th December is a very popular day in the Czech Republic - St. Nicholas´s day! All the children wait impatiently for the evening when St. Nicholas accompanied with a group of devils and a nice angel come to their homes. Every year these popular creatures visit also our school and go to lower classes to ask children whether they were good or naughty.

St. Nicholas has a magic book with notes about each child.

Devils like to frighten the kids and these two ones were really terrible!
Some of the boys were nearly taken to the hell in devils´bags!
Good children always get some sweets from an angel´s basket.

In Poland only Santa Claus visited the youngest last Friday. In Polish language he is called Święty Mikołąj. We don't know devils. Maybe our own are enough. Older students exchange presents in their classes.
